Gina Ray Works is a Non-Binary queer person of color, who is self taught in painting and illustration. Born and raised in the city of Chicago, IL. Living there has enhance their focus with colors, movement and diversity. They are creating a unique body of work that highlights poetic moments of daily life. Their work is an exploration into the reasoning of people and their choices. Finding the meaning behind their decisions. Which is an important trait for human development.
Gina Ray Works makes drawings and conceptual artworks. Their work often creates a surrealistic reality. These images symbolize a collection of memories of the artist’s past. Which was recently manipulated by their current mental state.
